"Mommy, Mommy, I won second prize. Look ... I made a windmill!" my beautiful boy proudly exclaims. Gleefully running into the house, Kaelin shows me a few pieces of tiny wood slivers miticuously glued to a styrophoam cu. Another inginius invention created at one more Future Tech Workshop class. Impressive!
A few weeks ago I was gifted with a solar powered oven, crafted out of shiny mirrored cardboard. Heating up to 135 degrees farenheit, one budding scientist comes in fourth place, upon that hot October afternoon.
In the cooling afternoon of fall, as temperatures drop and the innate need for warmth and comfort increases, I open my heart to my boy genius and praise him for his efforts. Always loving him for all he truly is ... Amazing!
