Words : Still Here

Friday, December 1st, 2006

Skipping over broken branches once embracing freshly fallens snow. Deftly avoiding a plastic wapper full of doggy droppings. Skating on thin ice where rusty shovels dare to go. Pausing to look at the halo around Mother Moon. Leaning upon bent knee to clasp my hands as melting Buddha begins to leave me far too soon.

Sea of white clouds part to reveal stillness of bluest winter sky. Wealthy neighbours curtains close to safely watch t.v. Smell of winter to refresh the hungriest Soul. Quiet neighbourhood stroll upon early Vancouver eve. Christmas lights twinkling and bright. Although I walk alone in the dark, never to be lonely as I embark upon new adventures of this Good Nite!
