Grandma B. (on 'Dads' side) and Auntie C. departed for home today.
After a heart filled holiday in Vancouver, all past wounds
(the ones we hadn't before bandaged together)
are well dressed and wonderfully well healed.
After many much needed tears brought forth (Grandma's the sentimental sort...)
to fall gently upon one Rawsome (a tasty 'going away present') cake.
All is sweet and safe as ever in this lovingly reunited family of many flavours and newfound favours.
I am so proud of myself. I Kept my heart open to 'family' that felt so far away, in more than earthly distant miles can measure (Winnipeg). I 'let go' in order (cosmic realignment) to leave space for Healing. Wonderful spiritual growth occurred. On all sides. Then again, aren't we all on the same side?
Grateful tears flowed down my burning cheeks as I read the lovely inscriptions placed
upon 2 pretty cards presented by our 'new' family.
In so many ways 2 loved beings had noted the love evident in our life.
This wondrous World we choose to gladly share.
With ever expensive hearts we said our 'goodbyes' and gave our soulful hugs - Wonderful!
Being that it's humanly possible (I have proof!), I must readily admit -
my heart moved to open itself, once again - even more...
Bring on the light!
Bless you Grandma, Auntie and this beloved Grandchild, for whom you so wholly Love.
